Building a business is already a commitment.

Building a business while serving in the Navy? That’s a completely different kind of hustle.

There are days when I’m balancing work, responsibilities, family, content creation, website updates, inventory, customers, and everything else that comes with running a business.

And somehow, I’m still building.

One of the biggest things I had to realize was that there was never going to be a “perfect” time to start.

I could have waited until I had more money.

So I started with what I had.

And I’m still learning as I go.

Running a business has taught me things I never expected.

I’m not just the person behind the brand.

I’m the person thinking about products, packaging, inventory, marketing, social media, customer experience, website design, content, and the bigger vision.

There are so many little decisions that people don’t see behind the scenes.

But that’s what makes building a brand so exciting.

Every decision is another piece of the bigger picture.

Serving in the Navy has taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, and showing up—even when I don’t feel like it.

Those lessons have followed me into entrepreneurship.

Because some days, you won’t feel motivated.

Some days, a post won’t perform the way you expected.

Some days, you’ll question whether anyone even sees the vision.

But you still have to show up.

Consistency builds what motivation starts.

Sometimes it’s an hour after work.
